Artist and novelist in rehearsals preparing to direct her first film 'Boat' which is a play that explores
language and communication in it's many forms.
The main character is played by Claire Wetherall who is British deaf and so speaks BSL and Louise herself is American deaf so speaks ASL (but is able to sign many different sign languages).
